Despite the fact that Suzanne Berger ran against me for Greenburgh Town Supervisor in 2007, I’m supporting Suzanne’s campaign for chair of the Westchester County Democratic Committee. Greenburgh is a diverse community and our Democratic District Leaders have lots of different opinions. Suzanne has tried hard to be inclusive. At each meeting of the Democratic Committee’s executive committee, elected officials, civic activists, and district leaders are provided with the chance to express ourselves and disagree with each other in a very respectful manner. Suzanne has encouraged Democrats to get involved in the decision making processes of government and she has helped many Democrats achieve their dream of running for and winning elective office. I think Suzanne will be an outstanding Westchester County Democratic Chair.
